There has been a coup at Shiv Mandir on Aug 29th, 2023. Jagdish Shankar and his supporters entered the property and changed the building locks. They have taken control of the temple and proclaimed themselves as the new board of directors without a proper election, Jagdish Shankar and his supporters took advantage of the fact that RCMP would not intervene in religious civil issues.
The current registered board of directors will be calling a special general meeting as soon as we are able to fix a date and get hold of the proper membership list. We will be posting the meeting date on this blog so please keep checking, we will also announce the meeting date on Radio Fiji Mirchi.
